Shipping Policy

The lots awarded at auction will be sent, at the bidder's expense, to the address provided and by the transport company required by them (MRW and MBE, or any other company) or collected by the buyer directly at our headquarters at Subastas Segre, Calle Segre 18, 28001 Madrid. Subastas Segre may, at the request of the buyer, request transport quotes from the companies normally used and take charge of managing the shipment of the pieces, subject to payment of the same.

Delivery times:

Once the lot has been paid, Subastas Segre will proceed to make the arrangements for the packaging and transport of the piece. The average delivery time is between five and ten days. This period may vary depending on the availability of the piece in our facilities, if it is to be collected at the place of deposit or if the piece requires special packaging or adjustments.

Some lots may require an export licence according to the Spanish Law, please be sure that you have it before the ítems leave the country.

Collection at Subastas Segre's premises:

You can collect your lots yourself at our premises at Calle Segre 18 28002 Madrid, once you have been informed by email that the lots are available. If you do not collect the lot or lots awarded to you, you must authorise the person who is going to do so by means of an authorisation document or by e-mail.

Shipments by MRW and MBE:

Subastas Segre usually works with MRW and MBE as transport and courier services. Once a lot has been awarded, and during the payment process, you will be able to select your shipping method and see the cost of shipping.

Deliveries made can be insured up to 3,000 euros over the price awarded. Any claim for a shipment must be made within 48 hours of receipt at the latest. After this period, there will be no insurance cover. It is also necessary to keep the original packaging in order to be able to make a claim.

If you wish to receive the part at an address other than the one you have specified as a user, you must indicate this in the "alternative delivery address" in your USER REGISTRATION or send it by email to info@subastassegre.es.

Collection of batches by your private carrier:

You can use your own means of transport or hire the one of your choice directly. Subastas Segre, by default, includes the price of transport in its quotation. Therefore, if you wish to hire your own transport or collect the lot in person, you must inform us as soon as possible so that we can send you the settlement estimate without this charge. In this case, you will only be charged for packaging if this is necessary.

Lots purchased at online auctions must be collected within 10 days of the day after they are awarded. After this date, a storage fee of 6€ per piece per day will be charged.

Return policy

The lots purchased at auction may not be returned except in the event of an error in their dispatch by Subastas Segre. To make the return the item must be in perfect condition, presenting the purchase invoice. The lots purchased in a presential auction can not be returned. The lots are in a exhibition for at least ten days so the Bidder can ask for a condition report, aditional photos or any other kind of extra information about them.
The return will be made in the same payment method in which the purchase was paid.

In case of a only online auction (with no exhibition of the lots) the buyer can cancel a purchase within fourteen days from the date of auction, only in cases where the piece does not correspond to the cataloguing or has very significant flaws not indicated in the description or that cannot be seen in the images. The non-authenticity of the object must be reasoned and justified by an authority in the field. The piece must be returned in the same state and condition as it was delivered.

Subastas Segre reserves the right to cancel the user's account in the event that the user cancels an award for any reason other than one of the above for the damage caused to the seller, the next bidder and the auction directly.

In any of these cases and always within the established timeframe, Subastas Segre will mediate and fully refund the money paid for the purchase of the object. Transport costs in the collection and delivery of the piece or any other costs other than the amount of the auction plus commission and VAT, will not be paid by Subastas Segre.

Any other claim that the buyer may wish to make for inaccurate data or falsity of the piece, must be addressed inexcusably to the seller, while Subastas Segre does not assume the authenticity of the piece but only the mediation in the sale.

The above clauses do not affect the consumer's rights in terms of legal guarantee and after-sales services provided for in RDL 1/2007 of 16 November.
